I come every two weeks, March through October. Starts at $115 a month.
July is when home gardens fail. The weeds get ahead, something starts eating the squash, the tomatoes need pruning that nobody has time for, and by August the whole thing looks like a mistake. A visit every two weeks is what keeps that from happening.
What I do when I'm there
- —Weeding, every bed, every visit
- —Pruning and trellising as plants grow
- —Pest and disease checks, and treatment when something shows up
- —Watering system checks and adjustments
- —Succession planting, so an empty spot gets replanted instead of sitting
- —Seasonal changeovers in spring, midsummer, and fall
- —Harvesting if you want it, left on the porch if you're not home
- —A short text after each visit telling you what I did and what's coming
The plan keeps working
The bed plan from setup is what I work from on every visit. When a crop finishes, the next one is already on the plan. That's what keeps a bed full all season instead of half empty by August.

Billed monthly, March through October. Sizes based on standard 4x8 beds. Containers and herb pots come along with a bed plan at no extra charge.
Pay for the season upfront and take 10% off

Weekly visits
Available for larger gardens or anyone who wants harvest-level attention. Add roughly 60% to the biweekly rate.
Vacation coverage
Available to anyone, plan or not, at $65/hr with a two hour minimum.
Winter is not nothing
The season ends in October but the soil doesn't stop working. I come once a month from November through February and do the things that decide how good next spring is. Garlic goes in the ground in October and comes out in June. A cover crop puts nitrogen back so you're not buying it in bags. Beds get cleaned out now instead of in a panic in March. And you get next season's plan in January, while you're looking at seed catalogs anyway.

No contract
Thirty days notice and you're done, no fee, no argument. If the service isn't worth what you're paying, I'd rather know.
Questions about maintenance
Do I need to be home?
No. Most of my visits happen while people are at work.
What if something dies?
Something will. Gardens aren't lawns. I'll tell you why it happened and replant the spot on the next visit.
Do you use chemicals?
I start with the least aggressive option that works. If a problem needs something stronger, I'll tell you what it is and let you decide before I use it on food you're going to eat.
What happens in winter?
The season plan ends in October. If you want the beds looked after through winter, that's the winter package, and it's the cheapest four months of the year to improve your soil.
